A clever, in-the-hands, named card Triumph effect from the creative mind of Chris Mayhew.

This super clean and unique twist on the Triumph plot is just as fun for you to perform as it is for your audience to watch.

Someone names a card. You then show them the three main ways that most magicians find a card:

1. There’s the “easy way”: where you spread the cards face up and simply find the card

2. There’s the “hard way”: where you turn the cards face down and try cutting to their card

3. And there’s the combination of both: where face up cards are shuffled into face down cards to create the “medium way”

However, you actually prefer the super secret fourth way…aka the "extremely medium way".

This is where you take the deck of cards that’s been shuffled face-up into face-down and drop it from hand to hand. As you do, all the cards sort themselves back into order, leaving their named card as the only one facing the other way.

“Mediumph” is easier to do than you might think. It does not require any overly difficult sleight of hand and the fact that you don't need a table makes it more practical than many other Triumphs. Smart construction combined with sneaky subtleties make it an incredibly deceptive and amazing routine you can perform without needing hours of practice.
