On January 2, 1963, Milt, Bill and Irene Larsen opened the doors on what was to become the center of magic from that day forth. The Magic Castle became home to the Academy of Magic Arts, and also home to some of the greatest magicians of the 20/21st centuries. The List of performers who have graced the stages and spent their spare time within the walls of this truly remarkable establishment are a Who's Who of the magic world. Information was passed from master to student and secrets shared in an unprecedented manner over the years in this unique private club. Dai Vernon, Charlie Miller, Francis Carlyle, Larry Jenning, Mike Skinner, Bruce Cervon, Tony Giorgio, Ron Wilson are just some of the magicians who are discussed in this video by our all star panel. What a great panel it is! Howard Hamburg was friend and confident to many of magic's greatest figures. Steve Spill launched a remarkable career as magical author/performer being invited to attend and perform at the Castle from the age of 13. Michael Perovich wrote what is acknowledged to be the finest book ever written about "The Professor" The Vernon Companion. Diana Zimmerman tells how she and Cary Grant created the Castle Junior program that helped launch some of the brightest young careers in magic.
