DESCRIPTION
Eddie Joseph first released Heart-Throb to the magic community in the late 1940s, while he was still living in India. It was said to be one of his pet effects at the time and you'll understand why after reading the instructions. It makes a terrific party trick, since it lets your hostess be the center of attention. She thinks of a number which two gentleman (she selects) use to each arrive at a card. You, of course, find both cards with uncanny accuracy! However, what sets this little mystery apart is that the deck is borrowed and freely shuffled, and you never touch it at any point (really!). What's more, your back is turned for most of the trick, including while the gentlemen make their selections. No confederates, no set-up, strictly a one-man trick and it's easy to do! You get Eddie Joseph's instructions and patter story. 7 pages.
